From Arenzville, 75 men and women served during the Vietnam era. Among them were family groups that had been sending sons to war for generations – three Dufelmeiers, three Roegges, three Clarks, four Stocks, and two sets of brothers across several families.

John (Chris) Clark served in the US Army, military police. He was stationed at Fort Carson, CO.
Drew Clark served in the US Army and was stationed in Vietnam.
In 1970, Larry joined the US Army Reserves in Quincy, Illinois and achieved the rank of Ist Lieutenant before resigning his commission in 1978 and leaving the Reserves. He was on active duty in basic training, AIT, and Officer Candidate School from February, 1970 to September, 1970.
