Lance Corporal Devon P. Seymour served with the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve.
On June 9, 2005, Devon was killed in an explosion while conducting combat operations with the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), in Haqlaniyah, Iraq. He was 21 years old.
